The project seeks to promote and share the traditional maritime heritage of the Ligurian region by highlighting its unique characteristic: the close relationship between the sea and the mountains. The goal is to encourage cultural tourism throughout the area.
The University of Genoa's research group collaborates with the Association Storie di Barche to propose projects focused on studying and restoring traditional Ligurian boats, as well as promoting our maritime and territorial cultures.
